What a gift! To be able to start each day with God and choose His way instead of my way.
The adversary will test our determination to follow Jesus, every day, so we must stand strong, every day. Not to worry, we will fail. The hazard of being human. However, and most important, Jesus was born, lived, died, and resurrected to save us. God knew we would fail. That is why we were given Jesus, the greatest gift ever given, for all time and eternity.
So when you fall down, and you will, reach out for Jesus. He understands pain, betrayal, disappointment, sorrow, every hurt and failure, not because He is imperfect but because He is perfect and endured it all in the Garden of Gethsemane through to the crucifixion and resurrection. He suffered it all to save us all. All He asks is that we choose Him and follow where He leads.
