Sharing links…

Lifebegins45, over at My Journey of Healing, shared the following links:

http://covertabuse.com/2012/06/16/feigning-negative-emotions-fear/

It was unnerving to read through this and see how my NM would turn it around on me, and a part of me wonders how well did I learn the lessons of covert abuse?

It scares me to think I may know the lessons too well.

  1. Mother did this. I think it is why both of us mistrust emotions because we saw behind the mask and felt ticked off when other didn’t.

    • Yes.

  2. Thanks for this link. My NSis is a master of this, but I also think it applies to my NM and my NMIL too.

    • You’re welcome.

  3. Thanks for the link, Judy. My sister is the master of “hurt indignation”. I think I might need to write a post about this to get my head around it. xx

    • You’re welcome, Kara. I’ll keep an eye open for it. For some reason, my blog roll didn’t alert me to new posts, so I’m trying to remember to check on a regular basis.
