Lifebegins45, over at My Journey of Healing, shared the following links:
http://covertabuse.com/2012/06/16/feigning-negative-emotions-fear/
It was unnerving to read through this and see how my NM would turn it around on me, and a part of me wonders how well did I learn the lessons of covert abuse?
It scares me to think I may know the lessons too well.
Mother did this. I think it is why both of us mistrust emotions because we saw behind the mask and felt ticked off when other didn’t.

Thanks for this link. My NSis is a master of this, but I also think it applies to my NM and my NMIL too.

Thanks for the link, Judy. My sister is the master of “hurt indignation”. I think I might need to write a post about this to get my head around it. xx

You’re welcome, Kara. I’ll keep an eye open for it. For some reason, my blog roll didn’t alert me to new posts, so I’m trying to remember to check on a regular basis.
