Remembering Operation Red Wings

https://rhiannonwaits.wordpress.com/2010/06/28/remember-the-soldiers-of-operation-red-wings/

“Lone Survivor” was the first military autobiography I ever read, and it changed everything. I learned about tenacity, continuing on without whining, in the face of severe trial. “Draw the line.” Marcus Luttrell talked about drawing a line in the dirt and dragging himself across. Drawing another line and dragging himself across. Line by line, he survived. I learned the power of courage, of not giving up, no matter what. I’ve read about the other men, the ones who died, and how they all had a mindset to run to the fight, to embrace the battle, to choose to never runaway. Lessons I needed to learn in my own life. God bless them.
