Five Months…

…into the new year. This was posted on social media at the beginning of January but fits anytime:

Made it through the first week of the new year. Breathe. One day at a time. One step at a time. Sometimes, it’s a minute at a time. In truth, you only have this moment. A minute ago is gone. In a minute is never really here; there’s always another, waiting. Learn from the past and plan for the future; live in the present because it’s all you have. Do I live this? Not particularly successfully, but I keep working on it. It’s learning to be like Jesus. God isn’t the great I was or the great I will be; God is the great I AM.
