What was something good in your week?

  1. I really like your idea of ending each week reflecting on the positive aspects of it. Great perspective. It’s so easy to get to Friday and recall every pain, disappointment, conflict . . . It pairs nicely with something good that happened to me this week. I finished reading the fourth book by one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Laing Thompson. She wrote When God Says Wait, When God Says Go, All The Feels (about emotions) and, her latest book, When God Says No. She has a way I really relate to of taking the difficult things that happen and asking the reader to look at the good that does and can still exist around them. A sometimes hard and yet important perspective. Thank you for your own weekly perspective reminder given in Good News Friday.

    • You’re most welcome. Those books sound interesting. Thanks. 🙂

  2. Hello! I’ve been binge watching, Murder She Wrote. 2.) Since I broke my knee cap I have decided it is better to break it in the spring, the weather is better. I don’t have winter wind chills to endure when I vivist the doctor! 3,) My neighbor gave me a bouque of tulips from her garden. 4.) Chocolate chip cookies. 5.) Pizza and salad for dinner. Keep Smiling!

    • Fun! Quite the positive outlook; I’m impressed. Pretty! Yummy and more yummy! 🙂

  3. Oops. I am sorry about the mistakes.

    • I speak typo fluently. 😉

  4. I always want to have your croissant and chocolate! I have had a good week. 1. We finally have sunshine and warmer weather. 2. a couple of exciting training sessions with my horse. 3. got lots of annuals to plant out over the weekend. 4. the Baltimore Orioles have arrived at the bird feeder and we have put out oranges cut in half which they love. Have good weekend Judy.

    • 🙂 I’d have sent warm weather sooner if I could. LOL! Horse time is always good. Pretty! Sweet! You, too, Anne Leueen.
