Week 14 of Count it all Joy

Matthew 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hearth the word, and anon, with joy receiveth it.

Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

*Warnings to cultivate good ground. How often have I received new things with joy, but I wasn’t prepared and the joy quickly faded? Too often to count. What joy to know repentance is available in every aspect of my life. Because of Jesus Christ’s Atoning sacrifice, I am giving second chances, and third, and fourth, and fifth…

MercyMe “I Can Only Imagine” is the first Christian song that captured my heart and drew me into the joy of the inspiration, peace, and encouragement I’ve found listening to it. I’ve a collection of CDs by various artists. As a side note, the book and the movie by the same title are amazing.
