Post on SM…

My world has blown up in my face so often I stopped keeping track. I developed the habit of raging, crying, and then saying, “Okay, God, now what?” I don’t know how I missed God’s gift for turning ashes into beauty, but it’s been settling into my life, over the last few years. My world blows up, leaving ashes scattered everywhere. God gathers it, reshapes it, and says, “See what you can do with this.” I learn. I change. I grow. My faith and trust deepen. The world blows up. I start over, but not from scratch. I take what I’ve learned and accept the recreated ash into beauty God gives me. I’m also learning to seek His guidance more quickly and listen more intently.
