Proverbs 31:19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
Tangent: The spindle turns wool into thread, and the distaff holds the unspun wool or flax. I have several friends who have learned to spin and to weave the thread into fabric.
I learned something new. Wool is not an allergen; in other words, you can’t be allergic to wool. However, wool can be itchy. It depends on the fineness of the fibre and how sensitive your skin is.

My wool cloak is not itchy. It comes from Stanborough, in New Zealand, and their Stanborough Grey flock. I appreciate the quality.
Tangent over. This particular verse regards homemaking skills, at least, that’s the note I penciled beside it. Those skills range widely, including cooking, sewing, cleaning, accounting, budgeting, first aid, gardening, decorating, and a host of other skills. It can be overwhelming, or it can be a list of new things to learn, picking and choosing as one has time and the inclination. I’ve tried my hand at almost all of them. I flop at some and excel at others.
The perfectionist will demand that a woman learn it all and excel at it all. God does not. God counsels us to unearth our talents and increase them. He also states that He’s given some talents to one and other talents to another. He does not expect us to all be alike. He made us different, unique, and wants us to make the most of who we are as individuals. In His eyes, we don’t need to be able to excel at everything. He made us strong in some things and weak in others so we could help each other.

Enjoyed reading it especially the part where you have mentioned God’s love for everyone ,he has made everyone talented but in a different way with strength and weaknesses so that we all can be of some use to others. Thanks for sharing.Take care.πΉππ
