A new beginning to a new week. What will it bring? I don’t know, but God knows. Fear born of these uncertain times gnaws at me even as I screw my courage to the sticking place. The rewrite of another chapter is complete; only [two] to go. The storm rages around me, and I remind myself to keep my focus on Jesus; the winds and tumult obey His voice. When Jesus called Peter to walk on water, Jesus didn’t calm the waves; Peter succeeded as long as He focused his attention on Jesus. My Lord is asking me to focus on Him. The world excels at distraction, but I am learning to keep my sight fixed on my Savior and Redeemer. Without fear, no need would exist for courage. Allow your faith to inspire and strengthen your courage. Trust God, for He loves you beyond measure. Hold to Hope, God’s gift to you.

I have to remind myself to ‘let go and let God’.
