Was I ill?

I’m now wondering if I’ve been fighting some kind of illness since last July. This last weekend, I was miserable. I felt awful. I went through the hot cold hot cold cycle for almost two days, though my forehead wasn’t hot. I woke with a migraine; that hasn’t happened in a long time. I rested and tried to sleep. I took an herbal remedy for the migraine. I drank water. I did little. I didn’t feel well enough to read. I couldn’t work on rewrites at all. Even watching television was difficult. Definitely ill.

As you read in Tuesday’s post, I felt like winter was over after this weekend. I feel better. Here’s the weird part: My hands are back to normal. No itching. No rash. A little lotion, after I wash my hands, as usual.

I feel like I’ve been living my life, for the last several months, with the dimmer switch turned on low or off. Yesterday, I enjoyed my morning walk and watered the yard. The strangest sensation filled me. I felt like the switch was flipped on to full power. I don’t know what happened, but I’m grateful to be so much better. Thanks God.

Life is weird.

  3. You felt ill and yet you still wrote a guest post for me?! :O
    Color me impressed!

    • LOL! I really am a writer. Deadlines are sacred, including self-imposed deadlines. It also helped me think about something besides feeling awful. So, thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚
