Okay, God, what’s next?

Life changes between one breath and the next. Last Wednesday evening, I received an email. The official announcement was made online on Saturday.

It is with gratitude to our readers, and great pride in our authors and artists, that we at Desert Breeze Publishing announce we will be closing our literary doors as of July 2018.

We opened nearly ten years ago with a dream and a vision. We truly believe that in many ways we succeeded. But it is time to step back and say goodbye.

All DBP books currently available will be purchasable at the DBP website through the end of June. Some online stores will have them until the end of the month, but the take down process will begin immediately in order to close by the end of the month.

Blessing to everyone.

Didn’t see that coming. I’m saddened. I was honored to be a part of the DBP family.

My books will be available through the end of the month at DBP. They are being taken down from other sites.

The rights to my books will be returned to me and I will be given the opportunity to secure my book covers. Of course, it will take awhile, but I figure I’ll use the time to start reading through each book. I want to improve each one before releasing it via self-publishing. There are several I’d like to expand, i.e., add details like more descriptions. In the meantime, my only available books will be my Holiday, USA series.

I needed something cute.

  1. Sorry for the bad news. But maybe a blessing in disguise? How many books do you have out, Judy?

    • For me, it’s more sad than bad. I’ve loved working with the owners. I’ve wanted to add to several of the books, more details, not changing the stories just giving them more depth. This is my opportunity. This affects 13 books and 1 short story. Thanks, Jeff.

  2. New Chapter in your book…..Awesomeness ahead. Hugs.

    • Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Well written. Thanks
