Migraine Aftermath…

Blessedly, after sleeping on and off most of yesterday, I feel a bit more like a human being. The pounding in my head as reduced to an annoying background sensation. The desire to cast up my accounts is gone, and I’m perfectly fine with the sun shining again. This Easter Lily bloomed last spring in the back yard…

  1. Weather must be changing. Another friend also talked about having a migraine. I’m glad you are feeling better.

    • Thanks ((Ruth))

  2. The two migraines I have had were brought on by stress. I hope that is not the case for you. Or if it was, I hope the cause has gone away.

    • My migraines are usually a result of the “perfect storm.” Stress, lack of sleep, bad eating, and stupid hormones. Hormones 🙄 are becoming less of a problem, but this month decided to blindside me. Bah.

  3. Glad to hear you are feeling a little better today. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had a full-blown migraine, but remember that they are very difficult to endure. When I would get them, it seemed everything else would have to stop. I’d end up taking prescription medication (Imitrex aka Sumatriptan), and would really have no other option than laying perfectly still in a dark and quiet room for at least two or three hours. Sometimes the nap would help, and other times, not so much. Thankfully, the medication usually worked. I can’t say for sure why I don’t get them regularly anymore (maybe less stress?), but I’m just glad that they are a distant memory. Hope you feel even better tomorrow, and can get back to your daily routine. 🙂

    • Almost back to normal. 🙂 ((ntexas99))

  4. Glad you are feeling better. I get migraines sometimes and they are a misery.

    • Thanks, Cynthia. 🙂
