A lovely tribute…

…for Mother’s Day.

It’s a painful day. I dread it, every year. I’ll never have a healthy mother/daughter relationship. I had two furry children and funnily enough it helped. I worked hard to be a good momma to my furry children. I miss them.

The inevitable question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” My consistent reply: “I wanted to be a wife and mother.” It didn’t happen.

Seth Adam Smith offers a beautiful perspective:

  2. That is a nice tribute. I couldn’t help but focus on when he writes about “giving life” and how my mother sucked away life.

    Hugs to you, my friend.

    • Yes, it’s also impossible to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced it. ((Pandora Viltis))
