Writing opens doors unexpectedly…

The other morning I was working through the list of blogs I follow and came across one of my writing blogs that resonated with what I’m working through here:

It’s unsettling to see myself and a little discouraging.

Don’t you find it disheartening when they say a few of the things may apply to you and you think, “Everything?”

  1. Very interesting. A very heavy post from her. Makes me think, too. I certainly don’t do all of those, but at least half of them. I think God created us to bond with Him and others, and I resist. It’s too painful; we don’t want to be hurt. It is easier to avoid than to be hurt. We are learning a lot of very important things, but we cannot change ourselves overnight. It is a very slow process. God bless us in our endeavors.

    • Amen.

  2. OK at number 10 I stopped reading. Sucks to hit 10 out of 10. I’ll try the rest later. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

    • It isn’t new information. It’s simply all in one place. I loved the last list.

  3. There was more in that post that applied to me than not. Thank you for linking to it.

    • You’re welcome.

    Me too.
