Chapter 15…

As I read through the chapter on Fear and Faith, I can feel how I’m still struggling with this. I’m not quite comfortable. My certainty is more tentative. However, I wasn’t sure how I could actually change it to make it any better.

Funnily enough, I did notice grammar choices I wouldn’t make now. I changed a few things but didn’t want to do a complete rewrite, so it’s essentially intact as I wrote it two years ago.

Short synopsis of the chapter would be to say that I think faith and fear are not opposites but intertwined, inseparable. Both have positives and negatives.

Blind faith is no more useful than blind fear.

Fear keeps you from doing something stupid.

Faith keeps you from stupidly doing nothing.
