Surprisingly Happy by ntexas99…

I loved this!!

It’s wonderfully written.

Do you know what I realized? I didn’t have a Happy category. I do now.

I’ve posted this picture before, but I thought it appropriate for the day:

Large hand holding a small bunny with the quote: You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him. ~ James D. Miles

  1. Hurray for a Happy category. 🙂

    • 🙂

  2. You know what? I just realized that don’t have a Happy category on my blog, either, but I’m going to make one now! I guess the challenge will be to remember to keep our eyes open, so that we don’t a miss a chance to find some more Happy. Thanks for sharing this on your blog today. Just reading through it again made me Happy all over again. Hope you have a Happy Day!

    • 🙂 It did not start out a happy day. I received back some highly critical and baffling editing. Fortunately, I have wonderful friends who helped me work it out. Yahoo lost all my special occasions, when it did it’s recent update to calendars. Birthdays, anniversaries, anything that was repeated every year is gone. That did make me cry. I’ve an extra Jimmy Thomas calendar, so I’m using it for all those occasions. NM has been sick and sharing, and I’m praying I don’t end up with it. Yep, it’s been one of those kinds of days. Having said it, I’m determined not to let it keep me down. The rest of the day will be better! Even happy. 😀

      • Sorry to hear you’re having THAT kind of a day … hang in there … the goods news is that you’re already halfway through the day … maybe the second half of the day will leave room for improvement? Hope so!

        • Thank you! I’ve decided to curl up with a book I’ve been wanting to read, “Out of Left Field” by Morgan Kearns. She’s a high energy writer, and it comes across in her books. I’m proud of myself for choosing a book instead of eating every cookie I can find. 😀 Definite progress!
