Playing tag…

The Invisible Shadow played, and invited anyone who wanted to play along.

I decided to play. I needed to do something fun. 🙂

1. What happened on the best day of your life?

The first thing that came to my mind was the SEAL saying, “The only easy day was yesterday.” And yesterday wasn’t easy. But that isn’t quite what was asked. I’ve often been asked if I could go back to a single event or time, would I? No. I worked too hard to make it where I am now. I remember vividly the day I acquired my dog. I also remember, like it was last night, the hours when I came to realize Jesus was my Savior, down to my soul, so perhaps that should be the best day of my life. It was then I realized I was never, ever alone. I may feel lonely, but God was and always has been right there. If I didn’t feel Him, it was because I needed to drop a wall I’d built between us. I can’t bring myself to choose a single day, but then I’m not married, nor do I have children. I have wonderful friends, and I could choose days I spent with them, including the day I met each of them, but then I come back to not being able to choose only one. However, the day I fully accepted my Savior made everything good coming after it possible.

2. What is your greatest talent?

3. What have you done in your life that makes you the most proud?

Never given up.

4. What do you believe in that others might doubt the reality of?

Animals understand a whole lot more than they are given credit.

5. If you could travel in time, when would you go?

I’ve always loved westerns, but I also sometimes wish I could have been a mouse in the corner during the fight for independence. Then again, I write about the Regency era, but I love the hoop skirts of the late 1800s. I’d also like another day with my dog and my horse. I need a list.

6. What’s your favorite holiday and why?

Christmas and Easter, Christ was born and fulfilled his mission.

7. Any time in your life that you would like to have a ‘do-over’? Explain if you can.

Where do I begin?

8. What’s your favorite movie and why?

Lord of the Rings, The Man from Snowy River and Return to Snowy River, and Ladyhawke. Epic, horses, and fairy tales, with a happily ever after.

9. If you could spend one day doing anything you wanted, what would it be?

The problem with these questions is there are so many answers in my mind. Actually, this is good. I’m a writer, so anything can start a new story.

10. What are your views on social media?

Love what I use, and don’t miss what I don’t.

11. Have you ever broken the law and what did you do?  You needn’t answer if it will get you thrown in the pokey.

Nope. Not even a parking or speeding ticket. I know, too squeaky clean. Scary.

A bit of awesomeness over at Background story, last Monday:

  1. Tenacity! I wish I had your talent! 🙂

    Thanks for the link. 🙂

    • You’re welcome. 🙂

  2. Love it. Thanks to the introduction to an interesting blog. 🙂 I think I’ll play too. Loved your answers.

    • You’re welcome, and thanks. 🙂

      • Woohoo. I did it. 😉

        • 😀
